    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hey Emsbet, massive congratulations! :j:j:j
I'm delighted for you. I hope it all goes smoothly for you and that I'll be joining you in the not too distant future on the pregnancy threads! You've been a great help to me over the past few weeks so thanks a million for all the kind words and don't forget to check in on us here occassionally!

Feeling better today, mainly cos my little bro got engaged last night! So a big celebration should be coming our way in the next 18 months or so.

Thank God it's a Friday evening, eh? Mentioned the lack of alcohol to DH last night and how it can influence the quantity and quality of sperm. He got into a huff and then went quiet. Because he is a man and not a woman, this means he has actually taken on board what I said and most probably will go easy on the alcohol. Unlike me, if I got into a huff and then went quiet, I would go out of my way to get hammered the following evening just to be stubborn and let him know that I will do as I please and he can't tell me what to do. I'm glad I married him and not me! :D

You might remember what seems like ages ago I had my first smear and the result was abnormal. I then had to go to the hospital and have a colposcopy and a biopsy (which hurt quite a bit). At the time the consultant told me that everything looked fine, he thought the original result wasn’t really abnormal (and that the lab were probably being too zealous) and that I probably wouldn’t need to see him again. I was told to call the secretary if I hadn’t received my results within 3 weeks. I didn’t so called up and was told he was away on holiday and in total I’ve waited nearly 5 weeks for my result. I’ve been quite anxious but have kept telling myself not to worry as the consultant said he was positive it would come back clear.

Well it hasn’t. The biopsy confirmed CIN up to level 2 and I now need to wait for an appointment for treatment. I’m so upset :(

sending you massive hugs fannyanna...don't the medical proffesion pee you off sometimes!!! I know its easy to say, but try not to worry - it will be over before you know it xxx

Massive congrats emsbet - that should get the pma back up for everyone.

QQ - I'll just put DH's results on here and see what you think (hope none of the other girlies mind??) This is just copied directly from the results
    liquefaction - normal
    appearance - normal
    volume - 3.1mls
    pH - 8.5
    viscosity - normal
    sperm motility - 70.5% rapid(A), 10.8% sluggish(B), 1.6% non-progressive(C), 17.7%immotile(D)
    sperm count - 15.3million/ml
    morphology - 11.5% normal

so, from what I can find online, pH seems high (alkaline) and count seems low? what do you think?

    happy friday xx

CONGRATUALTIONS EMSBET!!!! That's great news. :D:D:D

For the list, I have no idea how many DPO as I'm not sure this month exactly when I did, but I am on day 23 of my cycle (which is about 34 days long although been 30 the last few months). I will probably test next weekend, as I would be due on around then, but in the past I've only tested positive once I'm 5 weeks PG, so that would be the following weekend.

Symptom Spotting Saga: I am so so tired today! I'm taking it as a positive sign, also have stretching and very mild cramps, but that could just be AF coming I suppose. I'm breastfeeding so I can;t work out whether my boobs are sore because I might be PG, or because she is getting her last molar through and currently has an appalling latch!

Hugs being sent your way fannyanna - just read your news. Fingers crossed they will be able to clear it all up quickly for you.

ETA my sister had this before Christmas and she had a cone biopsy to remove the abnormal cells. Fingers crossed that your treatment is simple and as pain-free as possible.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Motility is excellent, wow:shock: (DH's rapid is 3%:o) and morphology is good too (DH is 1%):)
Count is fine as WHO says 39million/ejaculate, yours is 47.43million:cool:
PH is a tad high, does he have an infection?
