We are being invaded by our neighbour's ivy too:(

Thia was planted by the previous owner and DH lived on his own for quite a while before we got together and never did anything about it. I've been living here for about 15 months now and we've only just got round to doing it - I think if we had left it much longer it might have wrecked the garage! It had already worked it's way through the window frame! Luckily the frame seems to be ok and not about to fall out! :p

Incidently this is the same previous owner who was very keen on DIY and when intalling the spotlight fitting in our kitchen didn't earth it! A few months ago the light started flickering when off so we got someone round to look at it and when he took the light fitting off the ceiling it was burnt and not earthed!

Still got my fingers crossed for you Nora and Tinkwings

    xx

Oh - I've made a promise not to test until Wednesday... a highly medically trained mate of mine (who I use as a personal consultant:rotfl:) told me to chillax and give it 72 hours.

So AF was due on friday according to FF no sign of it yet and no bfp just BFN  Have no idea what is happening so may take a leaf from Praline and try and chillax :o:p;)
I found this today... summed up my response to you both (and NoraBatty) ;)

Good Luck with testing Norabatty x

We are in the same boat it seems x

Thanks Tinkwings, I was talking to my sister this afternoon. She now has me under strict instructions to 1. chillax, 2. ditch the thermometer, 3. drink lots of water and 4. test on Tuesday morning if no sign of AF. Apparently, pg hormones double in size every day in early pregnancy so might as well wait til Tuesday and give myself a proper chance of getting a BFP if there's anything in there. If there isn't, it gives AF an extra 24 hrs to make her grand appearance and save me some mula. :)

Feeling a bit nauseous this evening, although the mind is very powerful when it wants to convince you of something you want to be convinced of!

    Good advice:cool:
    Pg hormones doubles every 48-72hrs:cool:

As for buying anything embarrassing, you should buy something else which is bigger at the same time. Like a box of tissue or a magazine.
I know you didn't have a car so you didn't want to carry something big:o Let's hope it was worth it:)

So, I can't sleep. Partly because I can't get comfy. Partly cos my nips are so sore. Now, before you start waving the :naughty: finger at me QQ(!) I'm aware that a) ssing is very naughty, but honestly I'm not trying to! b) it's probably too early for any ss anyway c) it could be my normal post-ovulation symptom, and I just forgot/didn't remember cos it's been that long!! :p

Problem is, cos they're so sore (and no I've not kept prodding them to check :p) it brings my mind back to the whole TTC lark and how many DPO I am etc...which doean't help with the sleep lark!! And then I end up thinking that it's dh's bday this week and it would make a lovely present for him, and it would be due around my 30th (I actually brought my wedding forward because I wanted to at least be pregnant by my 30th :o), and then of course my mind runs away with me and I have even less chance of sleep! :o I had a bit of an unreasonable emotional fit before too, which isn't really like me either, so I don't know if it's PMT or what??

When's rebekah testing again? Anyone else testing before the sister-mandated 48-72 hours? :p

    ((hugs))

I was up most of the night knowing today is my 14DPO and wondering whether to test or not as I have been feeling sick on and off. I did and am now very annoyed with myself because its BFN :(. Anyone else who is around the same DPO as me, don't test yet, give it 3 or 4 more days to avoid disappointment. With a bit of luck mine disappointment will be short lived and it will have just been too early AUzBoAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Hope everyone had a good weekend, and that AF stays away for you all, and hello to the 2 new comers, I think I only joined about a week ago, everyone is lovely. I did the whole oh I'll just wait and see what happens and wont take it too seriously kinda thing thinking the longer it takes the more money I can save up, I now have a BBT thermometer and OPK's and have started charting, well not being too bothered lasted a whole 3 months for me lol!! Good luck to you both xx

Thank you my love, I will see how long I can last before caving in to the MSE TTC way of life, I've given myself the target of christmas, but for all I know my cycles might mess me around for a while.

Oh Laura chin up my dear, it's not over yet!! :D Remember PMA :D

Give it a few days and test again if she's not here.

I feel like a three headed monster this morning, I have major mood swings the last couple of days, I giess my body is getting used to regularting itself again after 10yrs on a pill but my oh my my poor DH must have wondered who I was these last 2 days, talk about teenage moods!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
