I knew what I was going to ask you lovely ladies. I was on FF last night, trying to work out when I should start testing ie how many DPO do people get their BFP (answer, mostly at day 11-13 but not uncommon to be up to day 17 and even a few fluke 18-22s) for a 27-30 day cycle) and a few people seem to have bright green lines rather than dark blue between temps especially towards the end of their cycle or after a BFP - can anyone tell me why this is?
Like emsbet said, it is best to test on the day AF is due. I usually have 14 day LP, so I'd test on 15DPO.
As for the green lines, emsbet is right, you get it after you record a +hpt:o

Hi QQ, I don't know if I've OV'd. I had a few TLPs on my OPks before I went camping but never got a proper line. i then ran out of test sticks and went camping so I didn't do any more! Last cycle was 42 days but that was my first one off the pill so may not be 'normal' for me. I'm on CD20 now so I could well have!

    Evening all,

Well I'm going to have to rush to Boots on the way home from work tomorrow and then pick up the fertility monitor from my friend. The reason I couldn't order the sticks on amazon this time, is that they would take too long to arrive, as tomorrow is CD4 and you need to start testing before CD5 I believe. If I'm unlucky enough to be trying again after this cycle though, I'll order off amazon.

No other news here, but wanted to say a huge congratulations to purplepink on your BFP.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

You need to set the CBFM machine to CD5 (at the latest) at the right time (for FMU). I usually set it at 8:30am to give me 5:30am-11:30am testing window.

It'll ask for the sticks from CD6 on the 1st cycle. Is the machine second hand? If it is, hope it has been reset. The CBFM learns individual cycles, so it needs to be set to you:)

I know I never ov as early as CD6, so I always save the sticks until I get something resembling a line on cheapy OPKs:money:

I noticed last night CBFMs are about half price on Amazon at £55, so might be worth looking at a new one for some people as those on ebay don't seem to be hugely cheaper. HTH someone.
