Eeek I almost don't want to say....... only since April! (sorry!)

I think we were just incredibly incredibly lucky, and just managed to catch it right. I didn't even get a chance to use the OPKs I bought off Amazon!

Congratulations Shell. Wow, we're on a roll hey! QQ, glad your session went well. Will be telling DH to do some exercise then. Hugs to those on CD1. Af arrives for me next Fri-Sun, typical, we going away. Nasty witch! Not too ambitious about this month, but I guess there always is some glimmer of hope inside!

Sorry I've been away for a few days again, had to go on a course. Fascinating actually, all about renewable energy methods and their suitability. I'm definately a convert.

I think QQuaver is my favourite MSE poster - I've never come across anyone with such positivity in their posts. The world would be a much happier place if we could all look on the bright side so well.

Ordered some cheapie pg tests on ebay, even though TOTM isn't due till the 28th I felt the distinct urge to pee on a stick (never done it before, I wanted to know what I was up against!) and unsurpisingly it was negative. But it was only 8 DPO so I'm not loosing 100% of hope for this month just yet. This time next week I'll do another one if AF hasn't turned up.

Huge congrats AlwaysAlone, 4nnabella and Shell820810.

Hi Fanny, Hubby and I did Harcombe last year - you will get a HUGE loss in the first week (4-10lbs usually) but please be aware the vast majority of this is because carbs hold water in the body, as does salt, so by cutting these out your body is flushing water through a lot quicker and not holding it, we found as soon as we had carbs again agter the first 5 days we gained weight and only lost at 1lb a week ish. Its certainly not a cheap diet, but it did give us more energy. I got splitting migranes on day 3,4,and 5 which I think was sugar withdrawl. I never did manage to kick the habit though - my business supplies bakers a lot of the time and turning down a cake from someone I want to do business with is never a smart move!

    Good morning:wave:

The Chinese herbal tea tasted really really foul:lipsrseal
But DH said he felt it working in the night:huh:
As for me, I don't see much difference, but hopefully it'll detoxify me, and make me slim:D

Have been naughty today and been drinking champagne to celebrate me getting Chartered... I do love champagne
I had a bit of wine yesterday also:shhh::D
p.s. Thanks to whoever (4nnabella?) suggested H&B for agnus castus. I have bought a big tub. Only thing is, I know you're not supposed to take it after ov....should I start taking it now, or wait til next cycle?
It's up to you, but I'd wait until the next cycle, if there is a next cycle of course;)
Also, I noticed whilst in H&B that they have pregnacare (normal and pre-conception) on offer - a third off.
    Didn't realise H&B sells Pregnacare:cool:

    Hello

It's month one for us of using the clearblue digital fertility monitor.had five high days which included 2 peaks on cd19 and 20. Am now at cd30 and the 'm' sign has just come up on the monitor-is this standard on first use or is this telling me i should test now if no sign of the witch?!lol cycles have been up and down since coming off the pill 10 months ago but average is currently 36 days...so before I saw the 'm' this morning i was planning on testing on cd36 if nothing by then. Does anyone have any experience of the monitor?

    *goes back to lurking....*

    Xx

If you got Peaks on CD19 & 20, then you should test at CD35:o
The fertility monitor always flashes m around CD30.

How are you feeling? Fingers crossed!:j

    Morning all!

Weather very windy this morning, and we've had a bit of rain overnight (left washing on line last night as didn't know we had rain forecast, but apparently it's all dried again now because of the wind). Had a relaxing morning so far watching house programmes on the TV with Moon, but he's just left to cut my Nana's hedge for her, as his hedge trimmer broke halfway through doing it the other week, and he's fixed it now.

So, plan for today is to go and get dressed, bring in the washing, and put a couple more loads on so that they blow dry on the line, or I won't have enough work clothes this week.

AF is being very strange again - I've had hardly any bleeding at all (wondering if it was spotting), so I've just left a pantyliner in to see what happens. It did this last month too, so I'm not sure if it is just AF being difficult. Will keep you all posted if nothing develops, as I will do a test if it doesn't. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms at all though, so probably is AF.

Hugs to all who are on day 1 today, or who have had a BFN.

Fingers crossed for some more BFPs - we seem to have had quite a few this month, and there's still 9 days of this month left!

ETA If I wanted to do temp monitoring, do I have to get a special thermometer, or will an ordinary digital thermometer be ok?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

You should use BBT thermometer with 2 decimals (like 36.78), but some use ordinary ones:)

Thanks for all of the welcomes back.

I've put pineapple on the shopping list to get next week now (I love pineapple anyway, so eating this won't be a chore) - I got strawberries this week. Congratulations shell - did you eat pineapple every day of your cycle, or just from end of AF? I'm wondering if I need to go back to the supermarket and get some now, rather than wait til next weekend. :rotfl:I've been taking my multivitamins, but must admit it's not always been every day, as I've forgotten a few times. :o Think I'll put a reminder on the fridge door so that I take it every day. I've been getting Moon to take zinc and vitamin C supplements too to help his swimmers.

I'm sure it will be 3rd cycle lucky for us, especially as we've got the bank holiday weekend next weekend to start BDing in. :D

I've had an awful cold for the last week, and I'm really pleased to be coming out the other side. On a positive note though, I had a job interview on Wednesday morning, and I got the job despite my bunged up nose! I'm going for 2 handover days on Thursday and Friday this week, and I get to go on a day trip to the Isle of Wight at the end of June! :T

Hope everyone has the lovely sunshine that we have here today. I'm off out into the garden to play with the cat and make the most of it.

Hugs to all who need or want them,

    sexymouse x

PS I'm glad the Chinese medicine was a good experience for you QQ - lets hope it does the trick!

I heard the pineapple should just be from OV to help with implantation, but I had it before too. Started slimming world again 5-6 weeks ago, and have really increased the fruit since then, so had it most day regardless of where I was in the cycle.

Morning ladies :) How r we today? I`m shockingly chirpy this morning, even tho the house is a tip and its pants weather outside! (ok so the house isnt a tip, but its not as tidy as i like it to be lol!) Hubby is still in bed, so that could be why i`m still in a good mood ;)
Had a thought last night, wondering if any of you can help me....hubby is on MST (morphine) and i didnt even think to question if they are affecting his fertility??? Dont know how to google it and then hide history lol!
