Ladies, just want to pop in and thank you for the advice you have given me over the last 6 months. Got a faint line yesterday (done it yesterday morning but didnt checked to last night :eek:). Tried another cheapie this morning and it was +ve and then used my clear blue digitial and it confirm 1-2 weeks.

Feels very surreal. Didnt have any symptoms at all, so wasnt really checking. Period was due yesterday so done the test just in case, but there was no obvious line when I had a quick look, it was only last night I had a proper look at it and seen the faint line.

I started a good multivitamin last month, along with B complex and had half a pineapple a day. Thats all I did different.

Heres hoping it sticks. I am crampy and have sore boobs just like af, and am convinced its going to come any minute

to balance off the happiness I am now in so much pain I dont know what to do with myself cant stand up as i feel dizzy, cant sit down as it seems to get worse :mad: thank god my boys are being little angels today and are happy to have a slobby day at home. lol.

Hi everyone:wave:

Had a great Chinese medicine session.
Seems I have low body temperature, so the uterus is too cold for implantation. Also, that was the reason for my irregular cycles and PCOS. Apparently, people with higher body temps have shorter cycles:shocked: (goes to Smash's chart to check. Came back confused:huh:).

I had nice acupuncture session, both on my front and back (not at the same time:D), and nice leg massage:cool:

Also bought some special tea which I'm told is pretty awful tasting:o
DH had similar acupuncture & was given a similar tea:)
DH was told to exercise at least 5 mins a day to improve his swimmers:)

Thanks for all of the welcomes back.

I've put pineapple on the shopping list to get next week now (I love pineapple anyway, so eating this won't be a chore) - I got strawberries this week. Congratulations shell - did you eat pineapple every day of your cycle, or just from end of AF? I'm wondering if I need to go back to the supermarket and get some now, rather than wait til next weekend. :rotfl:I've been taking my multivitamins, but must admit it's not always been every day, as I've forgotten a few times. Think I'll put a reminder on the fridge door so that I take it every day. I've been getting Moon to take zinc and vitamin C supplements too to help his swimmers.

I'm sure it will be 3rd cycle lucky for us, especially as we've got the bank holiday weekend next weekend to start BDing in.

I've had an awful cold for the last week, and I'm really pleased to be coming out the other side. On a positive note though, I had a job interview on Wednesday morning, and I got the job despite my bunged up nose! I'm going for 2 handover days on Thursday and Friday this week, and I get to go on a day trip to the Isle of Wight at the end of June! :T

Hope everyone has the lovely sunshine that we have here today. I'm off out into the garden to play with the cat and make the most of it.

p.s. Thanks to whoever (4nnabella?) suggested H&B for agnus castus. I have bought a big tub. Only thing is, I know you're not supposed to take it after ov....should I start taking it now, or wait til next cycle?

Also, I noticed whilst in H&B that they have pregnacare (normal and pre-conception) on offer - a third off.

For me, well I still have my monster AF. It's now been a whole week and it's still going strong. I think I'm going to google Metformin and periods and see if others were heavy and long once they'd been kick started.

On the subject of chocolate I'm going to have a bit of a binge for the rest of the weekend as a bit of a last supper. I've been reading about a diet called the Harcombe Diet which I'm going to start on Monday. When my doctor said I probably had PCOS she recommended that I did the Atkins Diet. I personally don't like the idea of Atkins but recognise I probably need to ease up (quite a bit on carbs). After reading about the Harcombe Diet it all seems to make sense.

I've done the Harcombe diet fannyanna, it's quite easy as long as you remember the rules about what foods you can eat together and which you can't. The first week is quite restricted but it is only five days so not too difficult. Good luck with it
