    congrats mimi!!!!

well i went to the gym and weighed myself and I'm a stone heavier than I thought I was which makes me about 2 stone over weight :( this also probably means that my thyroid tablets are working the other way so I'm going to drop them to every other day until i come off them in 56days!

however this probably means no baby for me for the next two months so I guess i will go back to being more of a lurker.

    LOL

Differently - not really. We went on holiday at end of March (OH turned 30) so was nice and relaxed. I havent really been tracking my temperature or OV - Just period dates. I fell pregnant quickly last time with DD but this time was much quicker. But then, with DD i didnt realise until i was 3 months gone, i knew the minute i was late this time.

OH knew i was late, I hve been thinking about it today at work so asked him (on his lunch break of all times!) if he thought we should test and he said he wasnt sure - then you guys hassled me (thank you!) lol I did the test on my own at home, was going to do something romantic for OH but couldnt wait, when he finished work he got a text saying "hello daddy x"

I was going to wait until DD went to bed and then tell him but i thought i woul burst - and i obviously couldnt tell him around DD as madam has a mouth on her!

Told mum- shes ish happy, me and OH have been arguing a fair bit (Im on medication which makes me tired so im generally snappy) and with sore boobs etc ive been worse so my mum was worried but she knows we'll be fine.

OH is just on the phone telling his mum  the first bit i heard was "well im glad your sittring down" and then he said "what do you mean? what do you know about our sex life that i dont" then he laughed so im guessing she made a joke of it but quite HOW she knows about our sex life i dont know lol

OH said i dont look happy (to be honest im worried about money, but thats getting sorted end of month) and im looking at him wondering why he isnt as happy (but hes obviously worried about me lol)

im desperate to tell DD :D

tinksy - are you on levothyroxine by any chance? - DO NOT drop them. I had my thyroid removed due to a tumour and if i miss a tablet is screws up my body so so much. PLEASE consult a doctor before dropping your tablets x

You're still allowed to post if you're not actually TTC. (Or at least nobody's objected to me yet and I'm not TTC for at least another two months.)

    Evening all,

Well I'm on a bit of a downer - my BIL has just called to announce him and his wife are expecting their second baby. I feel like a b*tch because I'm so upset that it's not us :(
I didn't think it would affect me as much as it has and now I'm dreading going back to our home town as we have to stay with the in-laws and I know this is all we are going to here about until the baby is born and I'm not sure I can take it! OMG I'm such a selfish cow! I've told DH that I don't want to go back for a while and he said that's ok (what I haven't told him is I don't want to go back until we are pg! - not sure he will agree to that!:rotfl:).
I am happy for them but I can't help thinking it's not fair they already have one, it's supposed to be our turn! - I'm horrible aren't I?!

Sorry for bringing the mood down!

Also AF still hasn't made a return so who knows what is going on?!

    ((hugs)) tinksy

Congratulations again Mimi! :j We have had a great start to May with the BFPs!

nope im on carbizamole! i have self dropped before as part of the agreement I have with my GP (who is fabby unlike my endo who was useless!) just had some blood test results which show normal. however we have found that a build up of carb causes me to go the other way very quickly and i can feel that happening now, badly managed thyroid means this has happened alot.

however i am very pleased to hear that you have thyroid probs and one baby and one bean. gives me a little hope. I have an overactive thyroid on the final stretch of 18 months treatment.

I know it's hard to hear other people's good news when you sooooo badly want to be the one with the good news to share!! A lot of my friends have recently announced pregnancies and I really can't wait for it to be my turn! Not sure if it was on this thread or another but someone made a comment about this sort of thing and someone else responded saying just think when it's your turn, there'll be lots of hand downs ready and waiting for your little one :D

The rate we're going this month, we're all going to be getting BFPs anyway, so I'm sure it won't be long for you :) Just get your PMA back and keep trying :)

Thanks for the kind words, it's nice to have people in the same position to talk to.

I know I'm just been selfish and childish - I feel a lot better now I've had a little cry :o
