Big Congratulations to Mrs E! :D Woop! Woop!

As for the 'this isn't where I thought I'd be' theme going on, I can sympathise. I had that strong feeling about 4 years or so ago, before meeting OH. Not only did was I not where I thought I would be, progress wise, but I wasn't even close as I was single back then and I so wanted to be a younger Mum.

But, c'est la vie! When I started to think about it, I realised I would rather it took me longer to get there, than settle for someone for who wasn't a good match. And now, I'm soooo glad I did as OH is wonderful, and my ex......worse than when we split! I think it helps to focus on the positives of your life not going according to plan. I certainly would never have moved here in my original plan, so I'm now very glad things worked out differently.

Absolutely agree with this euronorris :D My OH is wonderful and yes, it may have me taken me longer to get here that I'd originally hoped but hey, I'm here now, maybe a bit older but certainly wiser and most definitely happier! :D

  • Morning Ladies - well nearly afternoon!! I really don't know where this morning had disappeared too!

I guess I am feeling slightly depressed as I am back to work tomorrow after having nearly 2 weeks off :( However only got 3 more weeks to go and got another 2 weeks off :T

I understand the feeling of being fed up - is it the hormones of our cycles, the building of hopes month after month? I am really fed up today!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day

Hello ladies. Happy Monday. CD6 here, so errm nothing doing. Waiting for ov so we can avoid dtd. I think I'm on the wrong thread :rotfl::rotfl: I'll just stay here and be your cheerleader.

There's a P&G proud sponsor of mums advert on tv which makes me want to throw things at the tv.

Making the most of my last day off work. Why is it that non-work days go so much faster than actual work ones?

Congratulations on the May BFPs. Hopefully first of many. C'mon ladies. Lets introduce those sperm to the eggs.

    Hi all

Many Congrats on your BFP Mrsexcited yay :j:j

I am going to do a test on friday (if i can wait that long) i know i said i wasnt going to SS but something came to my attention by chance yesterday.......i went to lunch with my mum and instead of having a pudding my mum ordered a floater coffee, i popped to the loo while she ordered my pudding and her coffee so dint realise she had ordered her coffee with southern comfort in it....i just got this strong smell of alcohol and said so and she told me then....thought it was weird i could smell the southern comfort through the coffee?? i know heightened scent could be a symptom :p and b o o b s are a little sensitive and very rarely suffer from this af or otherwise

anyway thought id share that with you guys as not mentioning anything to hubby this month as it gets our hopes up too much.

If im not pg this month i am making a docs appointment as i have 3 temp charts now, not consecutive months but at least it gives them an idea and maybe i can have some tests done.....been well over a year and im over 35 so they should do something now shouldnt they??

sorry for long post, hope everyone is ok :)

i do this! my mum had 3 by 26 and I don't have 1! however she was also a single mum by then and I have the world's best hubby. so swings and roundabouts I guess.
I'm guilty of this also! My mum had done by 27. I'm 30 this year!

    Bit of a poll.....

How many DPO's do you wait until you test?

Do you do it early as your impatient (knowing full well you'll get a negative as it's too early BUT it might be a positive)?

Do you do it around 14DPO?

Do you wait a little bit longer (thinking that if it has happened you then wont get a false positive)?

This is my first month trying so I'm really not expecting anything to happen but you never know.....

I'm 10DPO and I don't know whether to test on Friday (14DPO) or on Sunday (16DPO).

I've ruled out Saturday as that's when we have my step-daughter and (I know this sounds awful but) I'm not sure I'd deal very well having my husbands daughter around all day if I'm feeling down as I haven't been able to conceive.
