When I was younger my mum won some tickets on the radio...my brother and I came home from school and she said she had given them away as she did not want to go to the ballet ...I asked her what ballet was it ..."Spandau Ballet" she replied ......................argggghhhhh at 14 and 15 we would have loved those tickets!!

Biggest (and pretty much only) thing I've ever won was £500 from Equitalk last year.

I had an email to say every call I made would be entered and I just thought "yeah, yeah" and forgot about it......until I had a letter congratulating me and asking me to confirm my address by return. So I did.....and got a £500 cheque by special delivery......still thought it was a joke until the cheque cleared.

Now that was buzz!!!

As I mentioned on another post, the biggest comp I ever won was an all expenses paid holidya to the Caribbean for two. That was a few years ago - 1999 I think! Booked an all inclusive 2-week hol to Barbados worth £3000. It was fantastic. At the time we couldn't afford a holiday and lived in a freezing cold student house in Sheffield. We took the holiday in the February - the perfect time to escape the cold dreary British winter.

At the time I wasn't entering competitions, so it was a complete one-off! I went to Meadowhall to do my Christmas shopping and had an invite to a Christmas shopping evening at 'Principles'. I only popped in because they were offering a free mince pie and glass of wine (it was evening and I'd not eaten since lunchtime)... Thought I might as well enter the prize draw. Never dreamed I would win!

Just goes to show, never give up... Someone has to win!

I won £500 with kellogs Nutrigrain, digital camera, bike, gas bbq, luxury shower hamper & a holiday to Jerez in Spain with free car hire.
I am comping crazy, though!

Its a toss up between a £400 phone/ hand held PC/ tom tom, and tickets for the queens 50th Jubilee party in Buckingham Palace.

I think the biggest prize i've ever won was gold circle tickets for live 8 these bagged me front row position. To me they were priceless lol

Just to give you hope We have won a family holiday for 5 of a 3 day pass to Eurodisney, including 3 nights in the disney hotel travel on Eurostar, and £500 spending money. We are so excited, going in July. :j
