    Was that the hammer price? If so it was probably about the same price it would have been from a forecourt once you took buyers premium and indemnity insurance into account.

    I got my OH a CVH Sierra from there for £80 about 10 or 12 years ago. There followed a faultless 4 years motoring right up to the point the cam belt slipped and bent all the inlet valves.

    Not all auction cars are trouble
