  • Good morning everyone, well I was feeling a bit down in the dumps (menopause my emotions are all over the place) but after reading through the thread feel a bit better, but hugs to those who need them. Today i am minding my DGS who has just found out how to move extremly quickly soI won't get much done until tonight in the way of cleaning.
I wish the weather would dry up just for a bit, I have got green tomatoes in the greenhouse and outside and they don't look like they are going to ripen feels like I have wasted my time.
I think I am going to go to Mr Ms in a bit.
Hope everyone has a good day, and may you all see some sunshine.

    Morning all.

I seem to be reasonably headache-free this morning, although I can feel it kind of lurking in the background, ready to pounce again. I think Mr LW's Patent Headache Cure may have helped!;)

Glitterkitty good luck with your minor surgery – hope it's not too unpleasant.

Mioliere sorry your cat hasn't returned. It must be awful. I've only ever had dogs, but I know how much an animal means to its humans.

    Welcome to the thread Gintotmelinda:beer:

Kezlou (((HUGS))) I don't have adquate words, sweetie; but you're in my thoughts.

Lowesy a (((HUG))) for you too. I guess it's inevitable that you'll think of what might have been. Probably best not to fight it; let the emotions come. I can't begin to imagine, but you, too, are in my thoughts.

Bitsy my tomatoes didn't ripen either, and to top it off, we got a nasty caterpillar infestation, so bad I had to get rid of the plants. I picked what toms there were, and have them in a glass bowl on the kitchen windowsill, and they are gradually ripening. Go figure.... *confused smiley*

Booskyeboo ain't the menopause a b*tch? I'm glad reading the thread helps you – it does me, too.

I have a load of washing out on the line – Mr LW's work gear, shirts and Chinos, so I'm watching the weather like a hawk.

Dins will be Quorn sausage salad - Mr LW has scrubbed and cut some spuds for me to do with mayo and chives from the garden to go with it, as my poor old paws suffer if I do spuds.

Must nip over to the Flylady thread and get today's list; I also need to do my half hour of Yoga, preferably before lunch, so I'd better love you and leave you for now.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Big hugs to Kezlou and Lowesy xxxxxxxxxxxx
Glitterkitty - I hope your surgery goes well.
mioliere I am a big pet fan, they are like people to me, I do so hope your cat comes back.

Started doing my tax return online yesterday, then realised I need my P60 and have a horrible feeling I don't know where it is. Any ideas what to do if I can't find it?

I have physio today, and am then doing a bridal make-up trial this evening, luckily the client only lives round the corner. Not much else planned really, but just wanted to say Hi! x

If you have lost your P60 you can contact your employer and ask for a Statement of Earnings. It has all the same info on as a P60. (can you tell I work for HMRC? Lol!)
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
  • Just having a wee quick cuppa.

Massive hugs and all my love to Lowesy and Kezlou. I have been thinking about you both these last couple of days. XXX

Hello to Bitsy, got your pm honey and will reply later when I have more time to dedicate myself. :D:D

I am struggling to find the MOT for the car, can't imagine why it is missing, daft cow that I am, and the man will be here in two hours. Best get moving!!!

    Morning all,
Didn't get on here yesterday as I had a very fraught morning which left me shattered. It turned out well tho' as my appeal for ESA was upheld at tribunal so that is a great weight off my mind and I can concentrate on getting better without worrying about money :) Weather forecast for here is wet wet wet so no wm today but have done dw and s/s of kitchen and bathroom and will make rissotto with rubber chicken and the odd mushrooms and bit of bacon lurking in fridge for dinner. Had my first ripe tomatoes today so will have them in a sandwich for lunch :) Just remembered have to do an online shop so had better get myself in gear.

    Congratulations/Commiserations to all GCSE'ers
Hugs to all esp Kezlou and Lowesy

    Hi everyone

At least the sun has come out this morning, but feeling the change:o

    :hello: newbies

    ((hugs)) Kezlou

((hugs)) Lowsey I know the date will never leave you as it never left my Mum when she lost one at full term, and even know I know his birthday, even though he was born before me, DS has a long version of his name, and even though he uses a version of it now, he never would use the short version.:o To say this pleased my Mum is a slight understatement.

As for the hiking/walking gear, most retail outlet centres have shops with reduced wear (lat years models I think) Mountain Outlet is one and Trespass is another, other than than camping/caravanning shops, not sure where you are to suggest these.

On that subject, and on my old soapbox, I respect everyone's privacy, but if you don't wish to add your town to the location, how about a county, or area of the country, so when you mention the weather we can glance to the left and see where abouts it is great or carp;)

Glad you had a great holiday Bitsy and the caravan was good.

Moiliere - enjoy your time over here, hope the cat turns up soon.

I popped to Aldi yesterday to stock up with fresh stuff. Bought one of their FR chickens, must be honest to say I cannot tell the difference from the cheaper ones:o, neither could DH. Ended up spending more as they have had their own versions of Le Creuset casserole dishes at £29.99, and thought about one for DS as he likes their stuff and the orange colour, but had not got one, however, they were reduced to £15.99 (though marked up at £19.99), so he got 2;) - they will go in the loft until he needs them. Also got a Junior Dictionary & a Junior Theosaurus for DGNeice who is writing mad, together with a small bar of chocolate for her, and a packet of white chocolate buttons for her Dbrother, who at almost 18 months and not seen us for 2 months needed bribery to remember us:D also got some face creams for me, so the bill was larger than food alone.

Off to Physio assessment in half an hour, will see what they say, apart from lose weight, and old age and insanity.

DS has got an upgrade and rise on his assessment, only been in this position 6 months, but has worked hard and put time in, so glad he has been rewarded, needed to with London living.

Congrats/Commisserations to the GCSErs, hope you all got enough to continue what you want to do.

For my bit of OS - dinner tonight with be the rest of the FR chicken. Will then pop the carcass in the SC for stock.

:grouphug: to all who'd like one

    Take care - DG

JackieG - its in the Blue Folder....i find everything in the blue folder

Jelly - you can get the details from your March payslip (totals earned and tax paid)

Lowesy - my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 20 weeks and I still remember his due date - he would have been 20 this year. I think its hard for people to appreciate as to them its 'just' a miscarriage but from the minute you find out you're pregnant you start to plan a future for your child and so suffer very real grief when that life is lost. Hugs to you and your OH xx

That prompted me to go and check the washing - the shirts and trousers are dry enough to go in the airing cupboard; the socks and underpants are still quite damp, but they're on one of those carousel-thingies hanging on the corner of the whirligig washing line, so easy to whip in quickly if need be.;)

ETA: The rain just arrived, but the socks & pants are safely in the bathroom.;) Thanks for the heads-up,marchio.:D
