VAT On a Contact

I eventually caved and bought an iPhone but I was unaware that the contact didn't include VAT so I'm being charged £5 more, a month, than I thought.

Is there anything I can do? I haven't signed anything that mentions VAT or the fact that the price sold to me was inclusive of VAT. I'm quite annoyed as the deal I thought I was getting wasn't actually as good as I thought.

Surely this is a law that says you must mention the VAT. Otherwise every shop could just 'forget' the VAT in all their prices, so by the time you realise it's too late. I don't want to get rid of my iPhone but I'd like to get the deal I signed up to.

Any ideas?
