A group of lads in their 20s were doing it on a road near me that's not lit at all, one jumped out in front of us and stared at the car so my dad sped up, he started running away from the car but still in the road (running the same way as the car was moving) so he chased him a little until the idiot got scared and leaped onto the pavement

That is very interesting, you can only sound your horn whilst moving. So what happens at traffic lights when you are stationary, the lights have turned green, and the car in front does not move, because they are not concentrating/doing something else?

Im guessing your not actually meant to use it for this anyway. After all, a horn is there to alert other road users to a potential hazard, not to hurry someone along.
  • Think the horns to let other road users know you are there.

Hmmm.... how do you rev your engines safely (to scare the 'yutes') when you're driving an automatic?
Knock it into neutral. Be sure the revs have fully dropped down to idle before re-engaging drive, though.
  • Rules of the road

    Pedestrians....
If you look at me approaching, then walk across the road you are fair game.
If you are standing in the road for no apparent/official reason you are fair game

    Parents...
Hold on to your children, they are no match for me in any of my vehicles whichever superhero they have dressed up as.
If your children are uneducated enough to understand that it is wrong and will hurt, keep hold or keep them indoors.

    Taxi drivers......
If you choose to double park while you sit gassing to your mate, your mirror will become another statistic.

    Sales Reps/Idiots....
Dont even consider for a split second whether i will move when you
    a) come charging out of a slip road to claim your rightful place in the fast lane because i will not move
    b) come charging across 3 lanes heading for the slip road across the hatched area because you will end up dead or in court, not me
    c) you are tailgating me because i have been known to slam the brakes on full force, carry spare underpants

    Biddies/Idiots.....
Islands have lanes, do not cut straight across, i am heavier than you, you will inevitably be shoved to the side with little concern for the inconvenience that you will cause to yourself or you precious car

These are my rules, and because i do not have to pay for insurance or vehicles, therefore it is of no concern to me whether you have amassed the minimum number of braincells required to drive sensibly and safely, and with regard to others.
I only require 2ft more than the length of my vehicle to fit it into a parking space, i have many years of experience, and have driven further now than most people will manage in their lifetime.
    DRIVE PROPERLY

    What's your car?
I won't feel bad about hitting you in a car park and driving off if it doesn't concern you.
  • i only drive goods vehicles, and i drive and park with consideration, thats why i have only had one accident in over 250k miles of driving. You would not believe the amount of bad drivers and idiots i have to avoid on a daily basis, 99% of the time it is people who dont look where they are going, or are not obeying the rules of the road i.e. anticipating what they are going to do and putting themselves in the correct lane at the correct time etc.
I read the road ahead and the conditions, and can usually see what drivers are going to do before they attempt it.

Feel free to hit any vehicle i am driving, you will have to pay for your own damage

That must have been you driving then.
Through a small town, towards the zebra crossing before a junction, just pushing his way through without any regard for anyone, and far too fast for the traffic and people about.
I made eye contact and stepped out.
Flats on all his precious HGV tyres.
So bounce on your way then.
