  • Hi Sainsburys have got 25% off all their wines at the moment if you buy 6 or more. They have also got a lot of their wines for half price.
  • Waitrose are doing 25% when buying 6 or more botles, making the Evas Vineyard Hungarian Chenin Blanc/Pinot Grigio a bargain £3 a bottle.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.
  • I bought wine from Tesco instore, it was discounted by 50%. When I took it the checkout I got a further 25% off as advertised. According to MSE you also get 25% off online, credited once your card has gone through. I therefore ordered the same wine online at the same price but did not get the discount of 25% that I got instore. I phoned Tesco online and spoke to a Mr Petrie who told me that Tesco online did NOT do this promotion. I think their promo email is very misleading but he couldn't see a problem with it. Moral of the story - buy your wine instore and get a further 25% off.

MSE reports that the 25% discount will be deducted once you have paid. This is incorrect. I have just queried my order and have been told that the on line price quoted already contains the discount. You should also be aware that the Tesco on line price for a wine may not be the same as the in store price for that wine. I have been told by Tesco that the two businesses are separate. You could therefore order on line and be paying more than the in store price less the discount. I will cancel half my order because of this.

depends whether a shopper is close to a tesco or not, if they are too far then maybe its a good chance for them to buy online
  • Remember you can double up the value of your clubcard vouchers before using them to purchase wine from Tesco Wines direct. This is done as usual on the Clubcard site via an e coupon. Just bought 12 bottles originally worth £132 selling at half price already with £32 of vouchers doubled-up. Only £2 left to pay....now that's what I call Money-saving.

I agree - Sainsbury's instore wine discount is a measly 5% - hardly worth it!

Does it not have to be from the 'finest' range only?
