    Yes the PU-9715A is a Clarion.

    The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 * * * * * * on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

    If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop

    Thanks for that, I can't see any barcode serial numbers, there certainly isn't anything that starts with C7. I'll try the dealership. Thanks for your help.

  • Is there any other way to find radio codes without pulling out the radio and paying for it? New starter hosed the radio

    In the majority of cases, the radio will have to be removed in order to identify the MAKE + MODEL of the radio then quoting ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS found on the radio casing in order to attempt at obtaining/calculating a code.

    The ease of removing from the dashboard depends on the make of radio

    The common DIN type (with 4 holes) method is explained below with a video demo link
    =======================================================

    Here is a video showing how to remove your radio from the dashboard. A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay , Halfords ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

    An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips
