  • Hello there!

I also have this very common problem as our Jeep was without a battery for a while. We are now the third owner and the car was bought from Germany, so there were no mention about radio code in vehicle or service documents. Here are the details:

Jeep Grand Cherokee '99 (European model)
    Radio is original Chrysler corp.
    Date 1109, Supplier 17719A
    Part no. P04858513AI-A
    S/N T Q1 AA 110 9 23935

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    J-P from Finland

I've just bought a Skoda Felicia (no, don't laugh, its tough times out there AND ITS A GOOD CAR!!)

Unfortunately like most other Grundig owners on this forum I don't have the unlock code. Have tried using those ropey decoding progs but the number I get given doens't work. Unless I'm doing something wrong which is highly likely.

Im now down to 7 (from 10) goes left, so getting a bit panicky
    Much appreciate your help.

    Grundig SC303 D (C)

    GM1303R7504827

    No. 90 355 877

Sorry ..not in my GRUNDIG database ...and I don`t think this one will be obtainable for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop

CHRYSLER codes are difficult to obtain from anywhere on the Internet.

This model is not in my small database.

Unfortunately DELCO codes are not obtainable (using the Serial Number) for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.

The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
  • Thank you very much for youe quick reply
As you mentioned in your post, not available for free over the internet, can you recommend any cheapest and trusted site to get the code for Delco ?
    Regards
