Yes, its true I also bought a car and the car radio was also locked and the dealer told me that it would also cost £100 for a new one. I think its a dealer's trick.

Nah had 2 do welding on a mondeo Nn 2 transits & took the batteries off to be safe nlow n behold no codes anywhere
