Thanks so much Reg, it worked first time. Now written down in a "safe place" so I'll be able ot find it again.

Unfortunately i'm very rarely in the car for more than 45 minutes at a time so leaving it for a couple of hours would have been tough. I wouldn't want to leave it on in case the battery wore out. I'll remember that tip for futre though.

Im after keycode as recently had somework to my van for which battery was disconnected an i now cannot get the radio to come back on as needs keycode which is not in manual its a ford 4000 rds serial number m141441 any help much appreciated thanks
