Hi All, New to the MSE community as I need to save money!

I have downsized my car as I have been made redundant, I bought a little 2003 Vauxhall corsa from a chap in the next village, and the radio doesn't work, it says I need a SAFE radio code?

The old guy didn't know what it was. I have taken the radio out and tried all the numbers on it but none are working!.

I know there are websites that claim to offer codes but , I just cant afford it at the moment!
so I noticed people on here are helpful and could possibly help me.

my radio serial number is GM020338348798

These V codes are not calculated but have to be looked up on the Ford database

Hi guys.

I’m holding down 1&6 and 2&6 but not getting number you’re after V or M then 6 digits. Its displaying MCD_GGD5__8 then goes through options after ‘Align’. Once it’s gone through these 4 options it goes back to ‘CODE - - - -‘.

It also displays this after the initial MCD display - but just presumed this was the date !!!55357;!!!56834;!!!55357;!!!56904; could this be the SIX digits (06-02-21)
