Car Radio Unlocking

Serial numbers beginning with a V are not usually available free. They are Ford dealer or radio specialist dealer only as the codes are not calculated from the serial number and access is needed to Ford's database to retrieve the code.Silverfox007 wrote: »Can you unlock V series ford stereo please

Hi everyone, I've read the forum and am aware that with a V serial number I am likely going to have to go to the dealer. I've booked in but it costs £20! I will go in as a last resort but thought I'd try on here just in case I get lucky...
The serial number is V078176
Any help at all would be so appreciated! Thanks0 -

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer0 -
Thanks, any tips on blogging for free?when I called they just said I'd need to book in and it'd cost £200

Hi guys my partner has just got a new '02 plate Vauxhall corsa.
It has the stock radio within still. A GM VDO CDR2005(E).
I was wondering if the poster who is providing codes could provide us with one please? He had the battery changed on Wednesday and due to everything being disconnected it now says "safe" in the same screen as where the clock is.
Under where it says VDO it has the code 330886636.
Under that it says no.: 24 469 306
And it has another code: WA010221
Thank you in advance

Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.
It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet0 -
Oh poo

Thank you for that info tho Trackman
I have now contacted Vauxhall directly and my partner will be receiving a phone call from someone at our local dealership in the morning
