    That isn't a correct serial number.

    You will have to get the correct serial number off the radio to find the code.

    Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it.

    If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back.

    It will be a M or V followed by six numbers.

    Hi can anyone help me with the unlocking of my Meriva 2004 radio code?

    It is in SAFE mode, and miss the radio :(.

    Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.

    It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

    Thank you, however this is what i get when I pressed 2 and 6 together.
    I guess I will have to pull the stereo out.

    As far as I know Z series are plug and play and don't have a protection code

    Hello,
    Sorry. Serial numbers beginning with a " V " are not available free. They are Ford dealer or radio specialist dealer only as the codes are not calculated from the serial number and access is needed to Ford's database to retrieve the code.
