Slightly odd one, but I'm trying to plan ahead.....I've just bought a Ford Fusion 2 with the three separate piece stereo fitted in the dash. The question is, what part/serial nos. would I need to produce a code (in case of battery drain, disconnecting battery, etc) and which piece would I find it on? Or is this a ford dealer-only situation? TIA.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

Difficult to say without knowing make and model of radio.
Usual method is to get the serial number off the radio to find the code. Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back.0 -

Can any one help me please. My battery went flat and now the radio/cd player is in safe mode and I have no code. The car is a Vauxhall Astra 03 reg. Radio is CDR500 Serial No. GM050031964876. There is also a very long number on the radio if that is needed. Many thanks.0
