Hi - just came across thread and wondered if you're still offering to help. Ford Fusion 2 2004 - recently had repairs and now need code - will the VIN number be enough?
Thanks Paul
You will have to get the serial number off the radio to find the code. Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back. It will be a M or V followed by six numbers. If it begins with a M post the serial number and we can find the code for you.0 -
My dad has had a new battery fitted on his ford but now the radio requires a code, can anyone help me out please? The serial number is m268534 and it's model 6000 reds e-o-n.
Thank you in advance
Katie
Many thanks RegWorts, I will pass the code onto my dad 😉👍🏼

Hi there, Long story short. Ive lost the code to my radio. Can anyone Please please provide me with a code for
Siemens VDO, CDR2005
Serial: GM 330886636
No: 24 469 305
Type: CDR 2005 (E)

I am very reluctant to pay for a code as it's in an old banged up work van.

Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.0 -

First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Removal Info here
https://www.fitaudio.com
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated0 -
