    Hi all,

After a battery disconnection, I'm looking to get my radio working again.

Finally managed to remove it to get the serial code. Awkward, but I'm not sure how my local garage were going to justify charging me £15 JUST to take it out, before even providing the code.

Anyway, if anyone can provide a code for a Philips Car 400 (from a 2003 Vauxhall Astra), I'd be really grateful. Even willing to pay someone a fiver. Just object to paying nearly £30 to get music back in my car! :-)

    Thanks!
  • I've seen you copy and paste that text lots of times throughout this thread, so I'm assuming you're just driving business for onlineradiocodes.co.uk?

  • hi
my wifes Mondeo 2009 titanium x car went in to the garage over xmas for new alternator, came back with radio/cd needing a code. after opening the booklet up I see the card is blank not filled out by ford. a friend told me to come here to this site, is this service still available?
I rang ford they tell me the cost is £12.99, I find this totally outrageous as this card should have been filled out when the car was purchased. if it was lost I could understand it. ford say they need a 7 digit number and can not find the code from the reg plate?
if this is possible it would be great, if not I will have to pay there ridiculous price for something they should have done when the car was new
    regards
  • Hi there i don't know if you are still with the forum but if you are i have a blocked ford radio code M525526 would you be able to help?

You will have to get the serial number off the radio to find the code. Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back. It will be a M or V followed by six numbers. If it begins with a M post the serial number and we can find the code for you.

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for reliable options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
