Hello,
Sorry we can't help
Main Dealer or a Decoding Service only for this code
This is a .. Siemens VDO .. radio and these codes are only available from the Dealer Database.0 -
After having a flat battery, I needed to reboot my Ford Focus stereo (6000 series). Having been quoted various prices by Ford dealers (all circa £30), I bought a pair of car radio release keys fror 87p from Amazon (RadioWorld). It was then really easy to pull the unit out to see the serial number. I then got a free activation code from the pumapeople site which worked a treat. :j0

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi,
Bought an A6 and the stereo is in safe mode, had to do a lot of mess to get to the code screen. The car didn't come with the code, checked on the stereo it's self and the build stick nothing there.
AUZ2Z3D1096087 is the stereos number.

Hello
I also have an Astra which has just had a new battery and my Siemens VDO radio has gone into Safe mode. I contacted a main Vauxhall Dealer who was convinced the model I was quoting to him was not the factory fitted model, it is. Can anyone help with a code for it.? I would be very grateful as the main dealers only suggestion was that I pay £34 to get a new code from them.
Like others in this thread I have already paid for the car inclusive of the radio so feel it's unfair of them to charge anything at all!
The numbers on the back are 330886636. It's a CDR 500 (E).
Thanks in advance.0
