Hi, I have a clarion radio unit in a Peugeot 106, it only has the serial number beginning with CL. Main dealer wants £24 for code. Can anyone help please.

    Model - Pu2294a(C)

    Serial no - CL040130868382

    Thanks.
  • I do not need a code now. A quick word with the local garage and a call to the ford main dealer and a free code was supplied. Perhaps another way of getting a code?

Well done - sometimes it all depends on WHO picks up the phone on the other end (and what mood they happen to be in).

Had a very long drive today with no radio. Fone died using the Team Rock app.
I've gotta head up north next so if anyone could help it'd be massively appreciated.
    Serial number V174499
    Part number 6c1t-18c815-aj
    Cheers.

    Hello,
Unfortunately, the " V " series aren't available free, you'll have to go to a main dealer.

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
    (Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.
