Thanks Anyway
I did go to vauxhall garage and they gave a code for my car reg - that didn't work .....suspect the unit had been changed by prev owner.
Will have to see what they say now that I spent some time getting the damn thing out and know the serial no....its also eaten a CD which it won't give back. Fun and games.
