Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.Hello can i get a unlocking code for my radio pu-2294b
Serial number is CL040220824731
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.0 -
Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.tattybonce wrote: »Could any kind person please confirm the code for my Puma Thunder? The serial number is M004695. I have the unlock code of 0640? Thanks if anyone can help me.:D
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

How do radios get locked???
I use cars in two countries for 6 months a year each.
I disconnect the battery when the car is not in use and when I reconnect I only have to input the station frequencies.
Cars are Toyotas.
Some radios do not require Security Codes....especially Non -UK vehicles0 -
The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a codebigmomma051204 wrote: »Hello
Just found this thread by accident!
Hubby has a Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 v6 sri.... Battery has died - he has another to put on and will be doing that himself but he knows that replacing it will probably kill off his radio
How would we go about getting a code etc? As this seems to be an expensive process requiring one to get done out of money by a Vauxhall dealer? I rang the Vauxhall dealer I got my corsa from and who i go to every year for service/MOT etc and they said that they would need to have his car in the garage and we would be looking at £75 to do code for radio
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Removal Info here
https://www.fitaudio.com
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated0 -
