Your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet.

Hello Just found this thread by accident!

Hubby has a Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 v6 sri.... Battery has died - he has another to put on and will be doing that himself but he knows that replacing it will probably kill off his radio :cool:

How would we go about getting a code etc? As this seems to be an expensive process requiring one to get done out of money by a Vauxhall dealer? I rang the Vauxhall dealer I got my corsa from and who i go to every year for service/MOT etc and they said that they would need to have his car in the garage and we would be looking at £75 to do code for radio :eek:
