Your code (BLAUPUNKT SEAT) will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet..

The code for serial number M391789 is correct.
But often the numbers in the books intretien are false.
Then you have to remove the radio from tablaeu panel and check the n / s on labels adhesives on the radio.

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with Ex; C 70000001234 on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.


Pictured there is a white label left or he must have a sticker with the reference C7 perhaps what is on the maintenance log.

thx for quick reply.. just had a quick look at the stereo and nothing with those numbers that you said , the barcode number is the CL number already posted , also the stereo is stuck with a 12 error code so we are trying to leave it on for an hour or so as app it resets itself (we shall see)

that did work so we are now back at the code enter screen

This is my last chance of getting my stereo working after replacing the battery otherwise its out of the window!

The stereo is from a Volkswagen - VW RCD 300
Next to this there is a bar code and underneath states 62170155432
It states - BLAUPUNKT GMBH then underneath that, the code is VWZ1Z2E7734403

I'm not sure what you need but I'm desperate, I've been without a stereo for 4 months!!
