Could you please help me with the code for my Mondeo radio. Ive pressed 1 and 6 and the following is scrolling up DP MV SH then 507000 then 09-00-00

No good, you need to pull it out of the dash and read the serial from the sticker.

I had to have my battery replaced, so now my stereo is asking for a code. Ford want £29.99 for one, so Ive turned to the internet!
I pressed 6 and 1 as I think it says to do and a series of numbers come up.

My wife's car needed a new alternator fitting...
When she got it back it required a code that she does not have.

The serial number is MO 52116

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Non of those are the serial number. Try pressing 6+2 to see if that will reveal it. The serial number should start with the letter M or V followed by 6 numbers.

To remove the radio from the dash special keys are required.
Try searching ebay to purchase a set as they are only a few pounds.
I hope this helps you remove the radio and obtain the serial number needed for the code....
