    Hi guys, I have a 2008 Ford Focus. I think my serial number is:

    V061864

    (I did the trick of pressing 6 then 1 on the unit)

    Does anyone know what the unlock code could be?

    V codes are not available free, ebay for less than £4

    m105371 = 8488
    TO ENTER CODE - press station preset button 1 repeatedly for 1st diget of your keycode - repeat the same on - 2 for 2nd - 3 for 3rd - 4 for 4th - & if the display then shows the correct keycode number press preset button 5 to enter - photo shows radio extractor keys & serial number on the radio casing - go to u-tube & see remove ford radio

    I'm yet another person with a VDO CDR 500E who objects to paying Vauxhall £30+ just to get my own radio working.
    I know that you don't have access to these codes, but do you know which unlocking services are reasonable?
    The main one that I've found still costs £25...

    Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

    It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
