I stumbled across this thread searching for a code, can't believe I didn't think of looking here first!! :-)

Can some of you kind folk please help me? I have been radio-less for 3 months :-(

Hello, What a godsend to find this thread. Battery was disconnected after needing new clutch just b4 Xmas! Nightmare! Since reconnecting it wont recognise the code I have in my documents of 2428.
The serial no is M277839 Unit type FD4500. I would be so grateful if you could kindly help with the correct code? Just slightly concerned the docs are not related to my stereo.

2428 is the correct code for that serial. Press 6 & 2 and see what comes up on the display.

Molerat - thankyou for making me do that...obviously a change in stereo has occured!!
It came up with M036436.
Can you still help me?
