Hi all
I need a code for a kenwood headunit... its one I bought ( as in didn't come with the car)
model KDC W6531
KE1137T0100316.
The kenwood website refers you to a company called fullers who want £10, so before I pay...can some one here try it ?
Thanks0 -

See your PM message for cheap and reliable options
Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service0 -

Sorry....I think this code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service
If you do contact the company mentioned I suspect that they will charge you £10 (non refundable admin charge ) to look it up on the database and if there is no code or the code given is incorrect then they will get you to post the radio to them for it to be decoded in their workshop for a higher fee plus postage both ways....total cost possibly £50 or more
Can you post back here with the result as this info may prove useful if another Kenwood code request gets posted.
However it might be cheaper to take it into a local decoding service where they will charge around £20 to get it working again.0 -
