its a ford fairmont 1995 and the numbers i can only press in are from 1 to 6 and its a 4 digit number hope this info can help.

I assume that you do not live in the UK?

The codes quoted on here apply to mainly UK + European cars as the US Fords can use different calculators.

If yours is a four digit code , what you could try is to individually insert digits 1 / 2 /3 /4 /5/ 6 / 7 /8 /9 /0 / in front of the three digit code ( 902 ) as this is quite often what was used in the different / later code calculator.

Obviously , this is not a guaranteed solution ...but worth trying.

Leave it switched on..undisturbed between wrong codes to allow it to reset.itself

Otherwise you will have to take the radio into a Decode Specialist for decoding.

I read earlier in this thread that you may have difficulty with the Blaupunkt serial numbers starting "VW..." but if you could possibly have a stab at VWZ1Z3W1199463, part number 7-648-227-060, I'd be most grateful - dealership wanted £55 + VAT
