Hi All,
New on here so please be gentle !!
I am trying to 'unlock' the stereo in a Ford Fiesta I have recently bought.
Unit type - FD 300N (3000)
Serial number - M008577

Here's the tricky bit, I know the original Keycode is 9333, but at some stage the unit must have been recoded as this no longer works.
Is there any way of unlocking the unit again, preferrably without incurring too much cost ?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

If that isnt right serial number where do i find correct one?? :S

It is highly unlikely that your radio has been recoded to a different code number because FORD codes are readily available from a variety of sources.

9333 is the correct code for the Serial Number quoted M00857...but is this the Serial Number that is actually on the radio or is it the one quoted in the car`s paperwork ?.

Quite often they can be completely different !...Worth checking.

Next make sure that you are entering the code correctly.

What does the display say?

1...before you start
2...after each digt
3..after you have pressed the final button.
