Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheap and reliable options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Unfortunately my digging around had already confirmed what you say but I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least try!

However, it seems that fortune is smiling on me today. I went back through the paperwork I got with the car and there was a invoice there from the local dealership from way back when for a code retrieval but no number listed. I phoned them and asked if they still had the code on file which apparently they don't due to data protection rules. But they did say that when they did this service, they tried to write it down somewhere in either the service log or car's user manual, just in case. So I flicked through the books and found nothing, resigning myself to £30 for a new code and then I happened to look through the radio manual. And there, on the image of the radio card example in the English section of the radio manual, someone has written a four digit code! Needless to say, I've got everything crossed that it's the right code which I'll be trying tonight when I get home.

But thank you anyway. May the money saving continue!!!
