How do I get the serial number and code without having to take the unit out? Don't have any documents to look for the serial number on too.

Press 6&1 or 6&2 together and the serial may come up on the screen clearly in the format M123456, if not you need to pull it out.

Hi.
I needed a new battery and alternator last week but can't find my radio code anywhere. So annoying. My model is 6000CD and the serial number is M083502.
Any help in finding the code would be really appreciated. A week without music! Brutal!

Model is a CDR 500
Serial is GM050032107637
