    Hi all

    I have recently bought a 1999 Ford KA with no radio code. I have discovered that the serial number for the radio, which is a 6000 CD, is MGP DJ5 402040300. Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    That looks more like a part number..
    On the 6000 it should look like this: --> M123456

    br

    The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

    It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

    Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

    Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

    Radio removal instructions can be found here

    Sorry we can't do V codes
    Suggest ebay , pay no more than £5 , check feedback of seller.

    m021525 = 9124
    TO ENTER CODE - press station preset button 1 repeatedly for 1st diget of your keycode - repeat the same on - 2 for 2nd - 3 for 3rd - 4 for 4th - & if the display then shows the correct keycode number press preset button 5 to enter - photo shows radio extractor keys & serial number on the radio casing - go to u-tube & see remove ford radio
