Car Radio Unlocking

Good evening!

Got a similar issue, changed battery on second hand car and no code doh!

I'm not sure however how to get my stereo out to get serial number, it's the original cassette stereo with CD changer attached. Got model number, RDS5000 E-O-N CD changer compatible.

Please help!

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

SAM (Sanyo) radios are fitted into Australian /Far East Fords and unfortunately the code will only be available from your local Aussie Ford Dealer or by taking it into a Radio Decoding Service
