    thanks - I only have digits 1 to 6 I can enter :-(

It`s no good to keep guessing at codes as that just locks radios

The correct code using the correct BP Calculator for this Peugeot is the one quoted 1246

1246 is just a guess.. the correct code was given (2354) but this didn't work as it may have been recoded.
As to the "8" you can enter "8" by pressing either 1 to 4 X number of times, but I expect you already know this.
The code range on a Factory model BP8146 is 1111~6666 and a non factory 0000~9999...
Hope this explains the codes given
The only true way of getting his code is read the eeprom inside by a local decoder, as was my recommendation.

No... 7648146392 model is a direct entry code using Presets 1 > 6

    see

    http://codedradio.info/?i=bn&st=7+648+146+392

If the OP does not return to try it, try posting this same request on another Decoding Forum and see what answer you get.

It should be 1246 using the correct BP Calculator

A working example of this model 7648146392 with code calculated using the correct calculator can be found here

I've re-entered manually and agree 1246 is the correct code. May be my sausage fingers lol

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Radio removal instructions can be found here
