Can someone provide with the security code for my ford 6000cd car radio, serial number V1054300

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software. Can someone provide with the security code for my ford 6000cd car radio, serial number V105430
See your PM message for cheap options
Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service0 -
Is this a factory unit or an after market unit?
Both fit but have differnt solutions

Ah... The factory fitted radio developed a fault after 6 months or so... and was replaced by the dealership (this was around 2001/2002)
It was only when the battery needed changing recently I realized I didn't have the radio code... looking at the radio it might not have been brand new as it has someone else's name scribbled on it
(... the dealership ceased trading years ago)0 -

Looks like youv'e got an aftermarket BP8146 and this is coded by the user on installation.
Only way now is to read the chip inside..
Quickest and cheapest option is to take it to your local decoder.
