    thanks, I had tried that one before, I tried it just and it dosesnt work!! Number displays and then I press button 5 but nothing happens. any advice?

    try button 6 instead

    button 5 didn't work to enter code, or six, so I pressed all, pressing SELECT seemed to do the trick... now have working radio, my thanks to you both for code and advice
