Thanks for that i will try as soon as it stops saying "TEN" after hitting select on the stereo front! any ideas how to remidy that?

found this info on different site.

"I think this will work, If the display shows LOCK10, turn on the radio whilst holding down 6 you can then enter the code"

Cool will try that just now!! and let ya know! - Right just tried that and its not working

When i turn the stereo on i need to depress the select button to get the CODE prompt on the display - however when i press the SELECT key it simplys displays TEN - not a FAULT 10 or anything just the word TEN - anyone have any clue what it means? or how i can attempt to get the prompt back to insert the code?

found some info on other site it says "you need to post the links/diodes (usually on the reverse of the stereo) and enter the sequence" after this is done a code can be generated.

My friend said try holding down the menu key and button 6 for about 20 secs

ok just tried but stereo dosn't have a menu key!! lol think i'll just get another one maybe second hand or something cause this is driving me to distraction!

I need to get a radio code, but cant get the stereo out. any suggestions.
its a 1996 fiesta ghia with a 3000 traffic stereo.
