Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheap options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Here is a video showing how to remove a standard radio from the dashboard.
A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4
    securing clips

note: on some radios , these 4 holes are protected by 4 small screws. These can be unscrewed using the appropriate size of Allen key
  • I have had the keys to release the radio, but they won't click in. It's like someone has broke them.
  • Sorry should have been more detailed whats wrong, its a 55 plate fiesta st, so the radio in that video is wrong. I have had a garage try and get it out and they cant.

If it is this one http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=69 press 6&2 together and the serial will appear on the screen

If this one http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=119 you need the keys from ebay, a set of 4 is lesss than £2
  • Have you got the code for MO33742 4500 please?
