like it suggests on another website

And they only tell you some of the answers !

No , the only way is to remove radio . DON'T PANIC

We help thousands every year. Its not difficult .

    1) Buy the 'keys' from Halfords ......about £6
    2) Buy off ebay .........£2

    3) look at the 'keys' on ebay , they are really only u -shaped wire
so cut down a wire coathanger .

Go to you tube , find a clip ........ Ford radio removal
( pictures are so much clearer , than me posting instructions )

    Keep us informed.
  • Thank you very much for all your help. Will try to get the radio out. Thanks again, take care.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Radio removal instructions can be found here

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheap options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
