mine shows MGPDJS(5?)O(0?)
Everybody else's seems to be M followed by 6 numbers.
Is this right?0 -
Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.munch_bunch99 wrote: »Hi
Can anyone give me the code for my Ford fiesta radio? Serial No: V061818
Thanks!
See your PM message for cheap options
Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service0 -
The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a codemine shows MGPDJS(5?)O(0?)
Everybody else's seems to be M followed by 6 numbers.
Is this right?
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here

A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.
An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4

Thank you
I think this radio is VIN coded which means it has to be electronically linked to your car.
This is a job for a Radio Decoding Service0 -
I'll get it out when I next see the gf and get the proper code.
There were 3 screens that it rotated through when I held 6 and 1. Does anyone know what those screens are?
One looked potentially like a date (of manufacture?).
One was a string of numbers
The other was the code starting with 'M' as I stated above but obviously is not a proper code it seems.0 -
chrishgt4.........
The serial will be M or V followed by six figures:0
