  • Hello,

I've just had to replace my car battery and once I've put the new one in, I 've found the car radio won't work and asks me for the code. I bought the car 2nd hand several years ago and on going through the paperwork I can't find the code anywhere.

A google internet search for 'renault radio code' has brought me here and I'm hoping somewhere here can help, please.

I've removed the radio so I can read the labels but left it all still connected.

The stickers on the back read:-

    Renault Radio 6010
    7700 433 943
    Phillips 22DC461/62P
    9022 214 61628
    PA4Bis, 4*15w, RDS
    CD changer control
    FD 11 99 38 8044872
    Model No. 22DC461/62P
    Prod No. FD 1199388044872

Another Barcode sticker has 7700 433 943 1511 on it

Another sticker has several barcodes but Code Gravage 8044872.

On the side there is another sticker reading
    22DC461/62P
    9022 21461628
    M/ch 044476

Please can someone help decipher the 4 digit unlock code I need or help to direct me to where I can get this working again.

    Thanks for reading.

    Try code 0427 once only

If it does not work then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode (in above I have assumed the Security Number at the end of your barcode = I511 ( where I = India)
  • Can you help Regworts?

Hi, I have found this forum in search for the "secret" code of Clarion/VW Radio.

I have managed to take out the equipment, is this information enough to get the code?
    Thank you.

Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Hi there, stereo number is V038175.

Is it possible to get the code for this or is it more difficult as its a V number?

    Thanks in advance
Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheapest options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
