Nice one Reg,

The reason I didnt reply earlier was because I checked through all the paperwork, the log book etc and there.......right in the corner of the back of one of the mot certificates was a 4 digit code......and it worked !

I did do some more checking and from what I found, It DID need to be sent back to be re-opened.

I do understand that its a great security measure to deter the thieves but I do wonder if its also a money making scheme and I think its very noble of you to offer people codes for free......I used to do it for Nokia phones with the trycktill generator as I was annoyed that people would make money out of something that was just a website they didnt know about. (Plus it saved people from putting their mobile phones in the freezer overnight......they really did try this!)

Hey all, Would anyone be able to provide the code for my 6000cd radio please, just had the engine replace and when I got the car the dealer didn't write the code on the card, they want £50 to get it unlocked, it's a 2007 Ford Fiesta, Radio Ser Number - M123010
