Bought a second-hand transit but the seller didn't have the radio code. It is a 3000 traffic serial no M113657. At the moment the radio shows locked 11 so even if I get a code does anyone know how to get the radio to ask for one?

Firstly please tell us where the M serial came from, directly from the sticker on the unit is the only acceptable answer. You have only 2 chances before this unit is in the bin.

Thanks for the rapid reply. There are two stickers on the unit, one on the side saying made in Portugal with a bar code and a part no 97FP-18K876-LA and another on the top saying Ford Audio Systems. Both have the same serial no M113657.
