Bought my 2006 Ford KA second hand but previous owner had lost the radio code. Had to remove the radio today to fix something else. Can anyone give me the code? Serial number M002744.

Thanks for that. So, I go to the car in order to try the code, and I realise I have no idea how to enter the code. Anyway, I tried randomly pressing the preset buttons, which in retrospect was a bad idea because now the radio says Wait. I finally resorted to the manual that came with the car but it doesn't have my type of radio listed. For the other types it says to use the 1,2,3 & 4 keys repeatedly to enter the required code. Anyone have any ideas if this is correct, and what the Wait means? Thanks.

I was hoping someone would know how long the wait is, and does the radio need to be on while it's waiting. I don't particularly want to sit in the car with the radio on, waiting for some indeterminate time. This car is only used for short journeys, so if it's a lengthy wait, I may never get a chance to input the code again!

Yes you need to leave the radio on while wait is displayed Does display only read wait sometimes reads wait 30 etc if reads a figure this is minutes, You input code first figure with button 1 second figure of code with 2 etc. and when code is correct in display press 5.
